YouTube and its future

I'm actually a very, very frequent visitor of the website https://www.youtube.com. YouTube is a site where anyone can upload a video to the world to view. That concept attracted many talented people to create many different genres of videos on YouTube. I, however, just like the majority of YouTube users, am only the consumer of all of these videos available on YouTube.

Nowadays, YouTube have been trying to make the platform more appealing to everyone. But, they seemed to mess up a bit. Their tactics of making sure YouTube is appealing to everyone, like using computer algorithms to make sure the content is for everyone or not, caused a lot of major issues. A lot of individual or small group of YouTube creators have been facing difficulties of having their content properly shown to their audience. Some YouTubers even have terrible revenue compared to the good o' times.

This situation isn't any better when YouTube is focusing more on cooperating with big media companies to have their content broadcast on YouTube.

For the future of YouTube. In my opinion, YouTube is really losing its core audience. If YouTube dosen't help the small creators, which still provide most of the videos on YouTube, it is just going to affect the creators themselves, and YouTube's core traffic - the viewers on YouTube. But they balanced it via having big companies' content on YouTube, generating new fans of YouTube.

So YouTube is going to win some, and also going to lose some. Win new people, while betting on old users continue to stay on the site and hope they would be interested in new content YouTube provides. On the other hand, YouTube is losing a lot of creators with great potential that can help pull attention to YouTube.

Well business is business, and YouTube has to do what is more profitable. Having famous content on YouTube will sure drive up and maintain the high amount of traffic.

I would say YouTube will be still around, but what is in there, will be quite different from what it used to be.
